A GIFT FROM ALL THE CHILDREN
Your family story. Told by all of you.
You know what the kitchen smelled like on Sundays, the phrases that were said a hundred times, what Mom and Dad were quietly proud of. You write it down — question by question, together with your siblings — and hand them the finished book.

What kind of place was our home to you?
Which smell, which sound, which Sunday comes to mind first?
What you are really giving
You give Mom and Dad their best years back. The ones when you were small.
Most parents would give anything for one more afternoon from back then: the full house, the small hands, the noise around the kitchen table. That is exactly where the parents book takes them — prompt by prompt, told by their children, until they hold it in their hands.
What is the book for Mom & Dad?
A book about your family life, written by the children.
The parents book is a guided memory project for Mom, Dad or both — written by their children. You answer dozens of prompts about your shared family life and add photos, audio or video. After your approval it becomes a personal hardcover book that you hand over.
You answer the questions. Mom and Dad receive the book.
What you give away at the end is the printed book. The writing before it belongs to you and your siblings — your parents only find out when it is finished and in front of them.

A GIFT FROM ALL OF YOU
Give it together, one book that lasts.
You invite each other, answer the same questions and watch the chapters take shape. The project becomes a gift from everyone instead of one person’s assignment. At a US$99 starting price you share the cost — however many siblings you are — and Mom and Dad notice nothing until you hand it over.
DOZENS OF PROMPTS
Questions that uncover more than dates.
Mom and Dad ask them themselves — as if they were sitting across from you. The prompts move from your home and family rituals through holidays, arguments and reconciliations to the things you never told them.
- 01
What did you do as a child even though you knew it would get you into trouble?
- 02
How could you tell that we were having a bad day?
- 03
Which of our decisions changed your life without you noticing at the time?
- 04
What should your children always pass on about us?

The details before you give it.
Clear answers about siblings, prompts, photographs and printing.
Do the children or the parents write the book?
The children. You look back on your shared family life and give Mom and Dad the finished book. If you want your parents to tell their own life story instead, the Life Book is the right one.
Can I give the writing project itself as a gift?
That is not what it is primarily made for. The parents book is written by the children — you set it up for yourselves and answer the prompts yourselves. What you give away at the end is the printed book, not the job of writing it.
Whose voice are the questions written in?
Your parents’. It reads “How could you tell that we were having a bad day?” rather than “… that Mom was having a bad day?”. That way the finished book reads like a conversation between you, not like a report about the family.
Is the book for one parent or both?
Both options work. Most families create one shared book for Mom and Dad, but you can also set up a separate book for each of them.
Can several siblings write together?
Yes, that is exactly what the book is made for. You invite each other and answer the same questions separately. In the book every answer carries the name above it — only together do they make the whole picture.
Will Mom and Dad know about it beforehand?
Only if you want them to. The project runs through your accounts; your parents see the book once it is printed. You can bring them in earlier at any time.
Does it work without an app?
Yes. Every prompt can be answered in the browser, with reminders by email. You only need the app if you would rather speak your answers than type them.
How many prompts and photos can you add?
There are dozens of prompts, and you can add your own. Essential includes up to 100 photos; higher plans allow unlimited photos.
When is the book printed?
Only after the project is approved. Printing then usually takes around 10–12 days. Additional copies start at US$49.
YOU KNOW MORE THAN YOU THINK
Write it down before your memories drift apart.
A parents book begins with the first question today and later sits on Mom and Dad’s shelf as your shared family book.
