Does Meminto guide me with questions, or can I create my own structure?
Both are possible. Themed books guide you through important parts of life with more than 200 questions. You can skip or edit questions and add your own; the blank book lets you build your own structure from the start.
Telling and creating together
Writing is only one way to contribute a story.
Do you need to be good with technology to take part?
No. Answers can be typed, recorded as voice messages or told over the phone. Simple View offers a particularly clear, easy-to-follow interface.
Can I tell my story instead of typing it?
Yes. StoryScribe turns spoken memories into text. If you prefer not to use an app, Meminto can call you at agreed times on a landline or mobile phone.
Can I add my own questions?
Yes. Add your own questions and chapters, adapt existing ones and skip anything that does not fit your story.
How can family and friends contribute?
Invite people to the shared project with an invitation link, without unnecessary registration hurdles. They can add stories, questions and photos while you keep the overview as editor.
What can go into the book besides text and photos?
You can add photos, scans and documents. Voice recordings and videos connect to printed pages through QR codes, so readers can also reach the original voice or moving moment.

How do I prepare a gift for someone?

How long can I work on my book?
Your plan gives you up to two years to work on the book. If you need more time, an extension may be available; the app shows the current terms.

How is the book made?
