Write together

Many memories become one shared book

You do not have to gather every family story on your own. Invite partners, siblings, friends or guests by link or QR code – with exactly the read or write access your project needs.

Share link or QR code

  • Invite without registration

Guests open the link and can contribute right away.

  • Choose the access

You decide who can read and who can write.

  • Unlimited guests

Guests without their own account do not count towards the participant limit.

One family, many perspectives

You do not have to know or write every story yourself

One person remembers the journey, another the wedding day, and someone else owns the photo that was still missing. Meminto gives every memory one shared place – without leaving the entire project with one person.

  • Everyone contributes what they truly remember
  • Several stories can grow at the same time
  • You remain in control as the book owner

How it works

From invitation to contribution – in three clear steps

Set it up, share it and begin together – without a long introduction for contributors.

  1. A person inviting more contributors to a memory book on a tablet01

    Add participants

Open your book sharing settings and invite family, friends or other contributors.

  2. Choosing between guest, write and read permissions on a tablet02

    Choose permissions

Give write access for contributions or read access when answers should only be viewed.

  3. Sharing settings being confirmed with a green check on a tablet03

    Save the settings

Select “Save” to apply the permissions and rules chosen for the invitation.

You set the boundaries

Writing together does not mean giving up control

You decide what invited people can see and do – and you can disable their access again later.

Write access

Contributors can answer existing questions and – when you allow it – add questions of their own.

Read access

Invited people can read the answers in the book but cannot change any content.

Gail with their own Meminto book
I’ve been writing my life story since I was in my 20’s. Now I finally have a medium for capturing my tales on paper in a beautifully printed book, using ‘copy & paste’ and the Meminto blank book option. I’m already working on my second book! You can find my review here!

I highly recommend the childhood book . I made it for my son so he knows how great our family time used to be. He already loves it and enjoys looking at it over and over again.

I am a photographer and value high print quality. Meminto has absolutely met that. I genuinely love the idea behind collecting stories, not just our own but of those around us. Read my Meminto review here.

Johann with their own Meminto book
My neighbour Helga helped me write the story of my life into a book. Remembering the old days brought me joy, and now I have something to pass on to my grandchildren.

Elise’s grandmother Carole decided to immortalize the first years of Elise’s life in a Meminto Childhood book. An almost 500-page thick book has been created, and Elise was full of joy!

I am extremely happy that I was able to preserve my late brother’s stories and poems with Meminto before they are forgotten. The support from Meminto has been amazing.

William with their own Meminto book
William’s grandmother, Carole, created a Meminto Childhood book as a surprise for his 13th birthday. After months of dedication and a last-minute race to finish, the gift arrived just in time and William was so captivated that he read it aloud to his family on the drive home

Frequently asked questions

What families ask before inviting others

Who can see what, does everyone need an account, and where does the participant limit apply?

Does every contributor need a Meminto account?

No. You can invite people as guests by link or QR code. They can contribute according to your settings without creating an account.

What is the difference between guests and co-storytellers?

Guests do not need their own account and are unlimited. Co-storytellers use a Meminto account, and the number included depends on your plan.

Can I give read-only access?

Yes. Read access lets invited people view answers in the book without editing them. Write access allows them to contribute to the content.

Can anyone with the write-access link contribute?

Yes. Anyone who receives the corresponding invitation link can contribute within the permissions you chose. Only share the link with people who should have access.

Can I keep contributors from influencing one another?

Yes. Use the “Avoid influencing each other while writing” option. You can also prevent participants from adding new questions.

How many co-storytellers are included?

Essential includes 2, Complete 10 and Premium 25 co-storytellers with their own account. Guests without an account are unlimited. More account participants can be added in packages.

Can I disable an invited person’s access later?

Yes. You can enable or disable access for any invited person at any time – whether they joined as a guest or with their own account – so you remain in control of your book project.
