Official rules
Who can enter
Anyone aged 18 or older in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia or New Zealand. One entry per person; Meminto employees and their households cannot enter.
How to enter
Email 7minutestories@meminto.com with your name and say that you accept these rules, between 13 October and 26 November 2026 (11:59 pm Eastern Time). The entry form on this page writes that email for you. No purchase is necessary, and buying a book does not improve your chances.
Prize
Two winners each receive one Meminto book project on a theme of their choice, with up to two years to write it and one printed matte hardcover of up to 300 pages. There is no cash alternative, and the prize can be given to someone else.
The draw
After the giveaway closes, we draw two winners at random and tell them by email. A winner who does not reply within 7 days may be replaced. Winners in Canada first answer a short skill-testing question.
Organizer and your data
The giveaway is run by Meminto GmbH, In der Heinrichsburg 10, 74821 Mosbach, Germany. We use your name and email address only for the giveaway and delete them within 60 days after the draw. Will the book be finished by Christmas?
It can be, if you start early and the stories come in quickly – you decide when the book goes to print. Most people give the beginning at Christmas instead: a voucher or e-card gives access right away, and the gift box is the right option when you want something to hand over. The story then grows calmly over the weeks and months that follow.
How much does a book cost?

Which book should I choose?

Do they have to write?
No. Memories can simply be told by phone, smartphone, or in the app. Writing is always an option too.
